Catch a range of short films curated especially for the Winter Arts Season at the Northbridge Piazza.


A digital collection of artworks from Yirrkala, LEGENDS AND LORE Land and Sea.Situated 4560 kms north east of Perth lies Yirrkala, a small Aboriginal community in Arnhem Land, home to the Buku-Larrnggay Mulka art centre, a powerhouse of internationally recognised artists whose Yolngu (language) stems from their deep connection to land and sea.

This exhibition will include barks and larrakitj – memorial poles – by celebrated and emerging artists from Yirrkala in Arnhem Land; an exhibition of eastern desert flora themes by artists Selina Teece Pwerl and Bernadine Johnston Kemarre accompanied by a selection of exquisite weaves from Noongar bush sculptor Janine McAullay Bott. 

Legends and Lore- land and sea is presented in collaboration with Artitja Fine Art. Based in South Fremantle Artitja Fine Art is a private gallery that aims in connecting cultures through art forms. Artitja was awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the 2016 Fremantle Business.
