Capturing the absurdity and joy of snow in Perth, Amy Perejuan-Capone’s project One Word For Snow will appear in various locations within the City.
For approximately one month, Amy will delight the people of Perth with both the wonder and beauty of snow within City streets and laneways. See below for the potential snow forecast
Snow Day 1: Friday 9 June. Heavy 'blizzards' forecast to hit Northbridge on Friday 9 June from 11.15am. Snow fronts expected in 30 minute intervals beginning in the east at PICA in the Perth Cultural Centre and extending west to north-west throughout Northbridge.
Snow Day 2: Tuesday 20 June. Possible snowfall near and around the central and west CBD.
Snow Day 3: Monday 3 July. Possible snowfall within laneways, arcades and balconies around the central and east CBD. Scattered 10 to 15 minute blizzards likely to hit Carillon City Murray Street at 12pm, Central Park at 12:45pm and a secret location at 1:30pm.
Snow Day 4: Monday 10 July. Snow fronts predicted around 11am at the Perth Cultural Centre and moving south towards the City of Perth library by 1pm in one hour intervals.
