QUEEN’S BATON RELAY CELEBRATION EVENT
Join us in celebrating the Queen’s Baton Relay. This is a free family friendly event where you can watch the last batonbearer carry the Queen’s Baton onto the stage at the end of the 6km Perth City Queen’s Baton Relay. There will be free kids face painting, giant bubbles, live performances, food and more. Meet Borobi the Commonwealth Games mascot Koala! The Queen’s Baton arrives on stage at 5.30pm. The Potbelleez will be headlining the community event to end the City of Perth leg of the Queen’s Baton Relay. The Potbelleez will perform at the Supreme Court Gardens in Perth on Saturday 24 February, headlining a free community event to celebrate the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Queen’s Baton Relay (QBR) and its time in Western Australia. The family friendly celebration will commence at 4:30pm, with community entertainment, vendors and GC2018 mascot Borobi before the Queen’s Baton arrival, carried by the final Batonbearer of the day at 5:30pm. The Potbelleez will then take to the stage to headline what will be an unforgettable evening before the event concludes at 6.30pm

Come down to Langley Park to view the Queen’s Baton pass by during its 6km journey through Perth City. An ice cream van and other facilities will be on site. Why not wander down to Supreme Court Gardens afterwards for more entertainment and to see the Queen’s Baton arrive on stage at 5.30pm!
