Event Booking & Hiring Guide

Are you putting on an event and seek a space to activate conveniently located? The Northbridge Piazza is located in the heart of Perth's cultural hub of Northbridge, and includes three separate areas available for hire and use - outdoor space, community room and 8-metre LED urban superscreen.

The publicly open, grassed area of the Northbridge Piazza is available for hire and use by commercial and community-driven organisations wishing to activate the space and bring new life to the precinct with cultural activities, creative performances and family-friendly events.  including setting up within the boundary of the grassed area with the inclusion of the in-built stage located directly beneath the Superscreen. 


The Northbridge Piazza Superscreen aims to celebrate artistic and creative spirit in Northbridge and act as a provider of artistic expression in Perth's cultural hub. Examples of this include entertainment-based events, arts, cultural, community, sporting and/or educational activities seeking programming opportunities.

There are no fees associated with screen bookings - if it is purely for use of the screen. Other uses may require additional resources and can be discussed after receiving the booking application form and liaising with an Events Officer. Booking applications must be submitted at least four weeks from the requested date to allow for approval and delivery of content, which must be of a general public and suitable nature. Each event will be assessed on a case by case basis with the City of Perth reserving the right to control, manage and make all final decision. Submission of the form does not guarantee the booking as all content must be reviewed before final approval is given. 

Community Room

The Community Room is located on the first floor of the Northbridge Piazza Community Building and is a fully accessible, ideal space for meetings, workshops and presentations - to name a few. Venue capacity is 85 standing and 60 comfortably seated. The room can be hired with or without equipment, however the following is included in standard bookings: chairs, tables, white-board, toilets, kitchenette and cups and saucers. Fees vary with both commercial and concession rates available, and a refundable bond of $250 will apply to cover key replacement costs or any damage incurred to the building by the hirer as a direct result of the hire and use of the room. The Community Room does not come with AV support and use of the AV equipment will require an appointment to test the equipment prior to the booking date.
