It's a Big Weekend of FREE Activities here in the City!!

Be a ninja warrior, take in the free fun of the kids carnival, get up close and personal with some little critters or play a round of laser tag... it's an adventurous and FREE weekend in the City for the whole family!!

Kids Carnival: Saturday 16th September & Sunday 17th September 10am - 4pm
Forrest Place

The carnival is coming to town and it’s bringing a truckload of fun with it, including rides, activities and giant games that will put ear-to-ear smiles on faces of all ages.


Critters Up Close: Sunday 17th September -  15th October, 10am - 2pm
Northbridge Piazza

If your kids love all things scaly, slimy and furry, this is for them! Get up close and personal with critters this weekend.

Pack a picnic and pull up a beanbag for free movie screenings in Northbridge. From weekend children’s movies to mid-week date night, there’s a plenty to entertain. Plus, watch the AFL Grand Final played live on the super screen on Saturday 30 September.

Hounds Day Out: Sunday 17th September, 10am-1pm
Supreme Court Gardens, Perth

Hounds Day Out is a greyhound themed event to showcase & celebrate the modern culture of greyhound companionship and to combat the long-held image of greyhounds as race dogs only. 
Profits from the event will go to Greyhound Adoptions WA- WA’s largest greyhound rehoming group that relies on donations and fundraising to save the lives of over 300 greyhounds every year. 
The event will include 30 stalls, food/coffee, activities, and a walk. 
All breeds of dog and their humans are welcome to attend and take part in activities. 



Ninja Training: Saturday 16th September - Sunday 15th October
Russell Square, Northbridge

In order to become renowned as Perth’s best ninja, one must first prove themselves on the gruelling obstacle course before conquering the 4 metre warped wall.

Come down to Russell Square in your active wear and take on the Ninja Training course for FREE.

DATES: 16, 17 & 30 September, 1, 14 &15 October, 10am - 4pm
VENUE: Russell Square
AGES: 16+

* No registrations required. 
^ Participants must complete a waiver prior to taking on the obstacle


Northbridge Piazza Yoga: First session Saturday 16th September, 8am
Northbridge Piazza

Revitalise and refresh ready for the weekend with weekly yoga sessions during Spring.
Taking place every Saturday morning at 8am on the grass at Northbridge Piazza, the classes are free. However, please bring your own mat.


Laser Tag: First session Saturday 16th September
Russell Square

Russell Square turns into a futuristic combat zone for you and your friends as you take on opposing players in a battle for laser tag bragging rights.

Giant Kaleidoscope: Saturday 16th September - Friday 13th October
Elizabeth Quay

Step into this giant 12 metre kaleidoscope and be dazzled as colour and light reflects from all angles.Elizabeth Quay will play host to this wonderous attraction designed to surprise those who pass through.

City workers, families, tourists and those who have not visited the City in awhile are encouraged to play and interact with the array of reflective mirrors.
