The talk of town this year for the Eat Drink Perth festival was surely the Night Noodle Market (NNM) held at the Perth Cultural Center! Eat Drink Perth 2015 opened with a bang last Wednesday with the Night Noodle Market, a family friendly Asian hawker style market set up over three areas, namely the Central Square, Museum Plaza and the Urban Orchard, housing over 20+ stalls and 3 popup bars. It was so exciting! I ended up going to this event three times over four days!
If you’re like me and don’t like to wait for you food, head to the Night Noodle Markets when they first open - 5pm week days and 4pm weekends. Then go straight to the most popular stalls to avoid the massive lines…Hoy Pinoy, Pasar Malam...
Tonight marked the official launch of the Night Noodle Markets, a 12 night event which forms part of Eat Drink Perth. The markets have been an immense success in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - but this was Perth's first turn to experience them. As a half-Asian who basically grew up with noodles hanging out one side of my mouth (and yes, also in my thermos during primary school), I was naturally really interested to see what the market would entail.
